cluck hound

Pretty much, this is a person who instantly sees something they can use to further a cause, and does so, often in retaliation for a slight. This is usually done without thinking, because it is too much trouble for their animal instincts to process. To be literal, imagine a rooster automatically crowing when the sun comes up and combine that with the tracking ability of a hunting dog. There you have it.

Despite getting an incredibly chafing case of butthurt over Newt Gingrich being accused of adultery, cluck hound Rush Limbaugh gobbled 10 extra Vicodins last right before railing away about John Edwards' own infidelity.
