as i grew up there myself, (don't worry im not a hooligan or thief OR chav) it has its positives & negatives. the positives are that it has some nice people (yes, it does) and the negatives are the football team millwall. (i still support them) so yes, bermondsey isn't very pleasant nowadays.

Bernard Black is a character in the UK television series 'black books'. Bernard describes himself as a reclusive wanker, and is correct. He is a chain smoker, an alcoholic and a horrible person - but despite this, there is something you have to like about him. Possibly the fact that he has an Irish accent, or he's unbelievably sexy. He can also live off the mushrooms in his hair, how is this NOT a good thing?
