Camelot is a small, often forgotten neighborhood in far northeast philly, that's usually lumped into Bustleton or Somerton because most
people outside of it
don't know it exists and because most
people in it
don't know what the neighborhood itself is called even though they agree its a neighborhood of its own.
Camelot is within the small
square bounded by Roosevelt Boulevard, Red Lion Road, the CSX train tracks, and the end of boulevard plaza (where it starts getting to industrial parks) to the north. The southern area sometimes gets extended to Conwell avenue .
There's not much there, besides the aforementioned boulevard plaza, Philadelphia Academy Charter
School (or PACS), and a Party City.
If you
don't have a
car, Camelot is a terrible place to live because it's really hard to go basically anywhere or do much of anything. you're perpetually far away from everything, and despite there being 5 bus routes in the area, you can only really depend on like three that are basically the same route in that area because the other two only come when they want to.
