The tendency of transgender individuals to drift into the background and away from the trans community the farther along they are in their transition. That isn't to say that they no longer identify as LGBT, but rather, their involvement in trans support groups, trans subreddits, local trans events, etc. wanes with time as they become less in need of active support and less able to relate to younger trans (baby trans) experiences and concerns like the onset of the effects of HRT, the process of coming out, getting all new clothes, and (especially for those who have had bottom surgery) bottom dysphoria.

If they are a trans lesbian (transbian), for instance, they may continue to attend pride events, but focus more on being a lesbian than being trans because being trans has essentially moved to the back of their mind; it's no longer something they actively think about beyond administering their estrogen.

"Why is it that most of the trans women here don't mind their genitals, when statistically, most trans women want SRS? Are we outliers?"

The graduation phenomenon accounts for much of the ideological divide between so-called baby trans and elder trans individuals.

It doesn't matter who it is or how good everything is working out, there will always be 1 person of 50 who will disconnect.

Bayonetta Phenomenon

When a character breaks the competitive meta so much to the point where the developers have to intervene in order to balance the character, but end up with an overly nerfed character that can be considered as, "useless" or "rarely used". This can take place next in the next installment or next update/patch, depends on the game.

I can't believe my favorite character went under the Bayonetta Phenomenon! I may as well main somebody else.

In fields like cognitive science, this means taking first-person experience seriously alongside third-person measurement. In medicine, it means attending to the lived experience of illness, not just the biological mechanisms. Phenomenology brings science back to experience, reminding it that all data is ultimately data-for-a-consciousness.

Epistemological Phenomenology

The theory that knowledge begins with and must return to lived experience. All concepts, theories, and abstractions are built from the raw material of phenomena—how things appear to consciousness. Epistemological Phenomenology brackets the question of whether things exist "in themselves" and focuses instead on how they show up for us, because that's the only access we have. It's not idealism (denying the world) but methodological humility: start with experience, because that's where you are. Knowledge that loses touch with experience loses touch with reality.
