The Joker himself is known for doing this to his victims in the movie The Dark Knight.

Joern is a fun guy who likes the beach, and is very fond of surfing. Although, he isn't a guy built for it. He usually eats quite a bit, and he gets quite big because of it. He can be charming and kind when he wants something, but can be the complete opposite as well. You wouldn’t want to be around when he is in a bad mood. He can have lots of family problems, and he isn’t very good at all at relationships. He is rather manipulative, abusive and nobody wants to be around him.
