Same
The word ‘same’ is used when something is similar to what another person has done and verbally expressed. It is a form of bonding and can be said in response to an emotional state, activity, thought, action or idea. To say ‘same’ in response, it does not have to be truthful. It can be a complete lie, especially if the person does not understand what the initial statement means. ‘Same’ is responded when the initial person who says ‘same’ says ‘same’. There is hopefully complete misunderstanding masked by both parties using the word ‘same’ and yet total clear communication on a closeness feeling of identical elation. It has nothing to do with what is originally said.

When you're just not on the same wavelength or the same thought pattern as someone else, and it is causing tension between you.
This is usually unintentional, and can be frustrating for both people.

Guy 1: "Dude, you're kinda getting on my nerves today"
Guy 2: "Sorry man, I'm not trying to do anything on purpose"
Guy 1: "It's alright, I think we're just not landing on the same rock"
