An idiom or phrase used towards people calling out/criticizing other's behaviors or actions when those same people are equally guilty of doing/behaving.

Person 1: <yelling and screaming about stupid meaningless non-issues>
Person 2: Could you not? Seriously. Nobody wants to hear you yelling and screaming about stupid shit and stressing everybody else out around you.
Person 1: Stop being a snowflake!
Person 2: Pot calling the kettle black much? Typically, people who call others snowflakes tend to be the bigger snowflakes themselves at any given time and day.

Typical sellout, in his old days he was a cool electro/house music artist who released cool tracks like "The Girls", "Blue" and "Acceptable in the 80s". Now he's a pop star who releases chart music for kids and people who like pop music. He just releases tracks now where he provides some average bet for some horrible rapper like Tinie Tempah to rap over or for some chart singer to sing over. The fact more people like him now does NOT make him a better music artist.

Chart music fan: "Dude have you heard the new Calvin Harris song?"

House music fan: "Yeah I hated it, I miss the days when he used to be good."

Chart music fan: "Oh well, I love house music, artists like David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Avicci"

age calling

(v.) The already outdated internet practise of attempting to belittle someone by asserting that they are younger than you. Typically, the age stated is 1-3 years younger than the age of the caller him/herself (more often than not, it is just oen year younger than the caller). This is a last ditch attempt by this person to sound mature. This tactic is often employed when the calling party knows they cannot assert themselves with some authority other than presenting false credentials of thier opponent, and the younger the person (common users are in thier early-mid teens, sometimes late teens) the more readily used the act. When thier ASSumptions are proved incorrect, however the response will automatically be 'I would never have guessed that'. The users of this tactic also favour political correctness, vague assumptions, pseudo-intellectualism, constant small insults throughout thier talk, a general feel of hatred towards thier adversary and getting upset very easily.

Usually said by a “Karen” who wants to appear right and authoritative in a situation. It is usually stated by someone who doesn’t work for the company that is being threatened.

Customer: l don’t have to wear a mask; I have a doctor’s excuse.

Clerk: I’m sorry, but I can’t serve you if you don’t have on a mask. It’s company policy.

Customer: Well, I’m calling corporate!

Mike: Hey Ken. What are you doing?
Ken: I’m just weeding my garden.

Mike: You know that’s against our HOA rules.

Ken: No, it isn’t…I’m just pulling out the weeds.
