Derogatory. A mentally handicapped person, a retard.

Possibly derived from the name of Heol Goffa 'Special' School in Llanelli, South Wales, however its use has spread much further afield.

Its use can be accompanied by a special hand gesture and jib to emphasise the point:
The jib is accomplished by placing your tongue in front of your bottom teeth and pushing your bottom lip outwards, and crossing your eyes.
The hand gesture consists simply of slapping the back of one limp hand with the other.

Person 1: Shit, I just locked my keys in the car.
Person 2: Hur hur, you goffa! *pulls face and slaps hand*

Geoffrey

noun. A disproportional or abnormally large abdomen (i.e. stomach, belly, gut, tummy, pooch, bread basket, paunch, spare tire, etc.) that can be misinterpreted or has at some point been misconstrued as a mid-late term pregnancy.

pronoun. A playful name given to a persons abdomen as described above, as if it was a separate entity or living thing.

noun- "I really have to start working out and eating better, because I'm starting to get a Geoffrey."

pronoun- "Hey babe, when are we going to eat? It's time to feed Geoffrey!"

Goffe

Typical emo teenager in Stockholm Sweden of the female gender. The male being called Grunthor Often found slashing her wrists or "playing the wrist violin" as it's also referred to. Camouflages her/himself in black since the daytime and sun is their natural enemy. Some purple, red, pink and striped varieties can also occur ocasionally. Manson is a hardcore yet typical goffe. On any given weekend night a typical stroll through any suburban park will yield the discovery of dozens sometimes more goffes and grunthors sitting in groups drinking lightbeer and slashing their wrists in synch with the dark repetitive music in their ipods.

Also a great and cheap way to dress for halloween themed parties since all you need is to rip your clothes and look depressed.

Feeling depressed? Wearing black? you're definately turning into a goffe.

Goffe is NOT a fashion statement. Its a way of life.
