A teenage girl who obsesses over a "hot" guy (who often turns out being ugly) because they have no social life. A lot of them go on youtube videos and talk about how ugly they are and how (guy name here) will never like them, in a retarded attempt to get sympathy. Most of them can't accept other people's way of thinking and just assume that their opinion is a fact.

Fangirl: (guy or band here) is the best.
Person: OK. Get some real taste in guys and music.
Fangirl: HATER! You're bullying me! It's people like you that make me want to go antisocial! Just get a life!!

Fangirl

There are mainly three types of fangirl. Type A: Obsessed with appearance, Type B: Obsessed with talent. Type C: Creepy Stalker. Type A fangirl usually fall for the boybands. The classic white girls. They may really love their music and voices, but it mainly comes from "how hot they are." They will see a picture of them for the first time and probably think, " OMG they are so hot! I am going to listen to their music now!!!" They fell for the looks first. Type B: will watch the show or listen to the music first. They slowly fall in love with the characters or band members. They research the actors and fall in love with them too. They obsess a lot but not where it gets too creepy. They enjoy merch, ships, OTP's, pizza, sleep, and their idol. Now type C. Type C are way out of hand. They need every peice of merch there is, make out with there cardboard cutouts and are nuts. This type is very unhealthy. They will kidnap their idol if they got close enough. NOT ALL FANGIRLS ARE LIKE TYPE C. Type C is very uncommon but many tend to think all fangirls are the same.

Fangirl Type A: OMG!! Hary Styles is so cute. I totally want him to be my boyfriend! OMG he is so hot also!
Fangirl Type B: Yuuuuusss Johnlock! Yuuussss DEstiel! I will be dead before season 4 of Sherlock. God Damn it Moffat. OOOHHH nooo ROSE!! *sobs*
Type C: Oh my god. I am going to rape niall horan and marry harry styles and make out with justin beiber. omg i am going to kidnap them and keep them in my basement.

Fangirlistic

What fangirls are, but typically refers to the really obsessive ones. A derivative of fangirlism, there is no known cure. Possible coping methods include staring at said obsessions, daydreaming about said obsessions, drawing pictures of said obsessions, reading fanfiction of said obsessions, masturbating to thoughts of said obsessions, etc., etc., etc. Uh... yeah.

fangirl armor

Similar to plot armor. Refers to when a (typically male) character from film/television/etc has a large following of fangirls, and thus is incapable of being permanently killed in their movie/show/etc, because its writers know that said fangirls would riot if he did.

Guy A: How the heck is Castiel still alive?
Guy B: He's got serious fangirl armor.
