The first and last refuge of the clueless. Essentially an oxymoron, since the mechanisms of "consensus" (in the sociological sense) and the methods of science are mutually exclusive.

Consensus science teaches us that the sky is going to fall.

science fact

Much like fact, "science fact" is added to the end of a sentence to imply that you know much more than you do, while effectively adding no weight. Is often classier than just saying "fact," because adding science to it makes people think you know what you're talking about.

Guy 1: Dude, most of the definitions on this website suck. Fact.

Guy 2: Except that everyone and their mother loves this sight. Science fact.

What's the science?

New slang phrase sweeping the midwest...sorta. It's just a fresh way to say "what's up" or any other phrase of the like. Replying with an actual science isn't a correct response.

Lucas: Hey, Alex. What's the science?
Alex: Um...marine biology?
