The Canis Rufus Effect

When the effect is working for you:

-You are having a impeccable timing.

When the effect is against you:

-You have the worse timing luck.

Examples:
-When you are holding an angle, decide to stop looking at it, and you get peeked on. You just got Canis Rufus-ed.
-When you switch your weapon for a abilitie, grenade or something and you get peeked on at the exact moment. You just got Canis Rufus-ed.
When you look at someone playing FPS games, with talent but nothing flashy and you can't explain how he is a getting all the kills.

When you look at someone and it looks like he's playing vs easy level bots.
Omg look, it's the canis rufus effect in action.
How is it that when i look at him, all his kills looks easy like if the enemy were brain dead versus him? Well its the canis rufus effect.

The Wetherspoons Effect

1) When you go into a pub or a bar (in the UK mostly) and you are either underage or merely old enough to drink and you are with your parents or another clearly grown adult and they order you a beer or a cider and the bartender notices that even though they might be ordering it, you are drinking it and on the basis of them knowing that your going to drink it they ask you for ID.

2) When a group of youths the same age walk into a pub or bar and when one person orders who drink the bartender asks the whole group for ID. Basically if each and every one of the group doesn't have ID then none of them will get served.

Both of these scenarios are typical of Wetherspoons as they are well known for being extremely strict when it comes to asking for ID and they do not appreciate one bit any scummy underagers on their premises getting boozed up under any circumstances.
*Father and son walk into bar*
Father: Hello, could I have two pints of Stella please.
Bartender: Is one of those for that lad sat on the table over there?
Father: Well yes.
Bartender: Could I check that lads ID please?
*Son overhears and walks over*
Son: Well The Wetherspoons Effect has most certainly kicked in hasn't it!

The Jerry Effect

The Jerry Effect occurs in the fantasy football league "Get the Belt or Go Home" and ONLY applies to the user Justin and his teams DaBears, Racing With Ruggs, and Waiver Wire Boys. The Jerry Effect is when the user Jerry is out of the league, Justin is winning championships. However, when Jerry is in the league, Justin is not even making the playoffs, and is most likely in last place. This is because the rivaly between Jerry clouds Justin's mind and leads to him making bad moves in fantasy football in order to compete with Jerry. (The Jerry Effect has nothing to do with Jerry winning or losing games)
Justin was the fantasy football champion 🏆 before Jerry joined the league. However now that Jerry is in the league, Justin cannot even make the playoffs. The Jerry Effect

glory days effect

The Glory Days Effect is when you are remembering someone's physical appearance from the past, as being WAY more impressive than it ACTUALLY was, and your memory plays tricks on you.

E.g. You remember the person as being super jacked, fit, shredded, etc. But when you go back and look at old pictures/watch the old movies, they don't look NEARLY as impressive as they did in your memory.
"Damn Bro, remember how shredded Brad Pitt was in Fight Club?" (Then you look and realize he was dope fiend lean, and about 150 lbs).

"DAMN, my mind's playing tricks on me, that's gotta be The Glory Days Effect".

"I went to HS with this guy who never took steroids, was 7% Bodyfat, and benching 405 lbs" (Then you go back and see a training video, and realize he was doing half reps with 3 spotters).

"Naw Bro, he couldn't even do that with 3 plates by himself, you got hit by The Glory Days Effect".

"Omg Ryan Reynolds in Blade: Trinity was jacked AF!" (You look in the mirror and realize you are now WAY bigger, and leaner than he was back then).

"That's so crazy, I actually look better than this now... Definitely The Glory Days Effect, in full force".
