Day texting

Texting that happens during the day. It is naturally not sexual and involves feelings other than sexual arousal. Most day texting conversations include phrases like "how are you today" or "how was work?" With the occasional "let's have lunch." It's normally subsequent hook ups and precedes a relationship.

Tessa: OMG he is totally day texting me!!
Mason: well I guess he wants more than just a hook up.

rapid fire torture texting

To text incensantly with rapid fire speed so that as person is responding with text, they are continually receiving texts from one or more senders. Also known as Comrade Heathen Rapid Fire Text. Causes uncontrollable giggling on senders part and unimaginable frustration on receivers part. Has been linked to stealing of fur hats.

Mary Ellen and Stumble Biscuits were rapid fire torture texting Maria whilst Maria was heading over to their house. By the time she arrived she was in a frenzied state while the senders were stuck in extreme non-stop giggles.

stutter texting

when you dont know how to respond to someone, and you type sensless letters in no specific order.

Bob: I screwed your sister last night...
George: Uh... cjesg cmgrfushv,hbugui <-----(this is stutter texting, my friend)

The act of forgetting the last text you sent to someone, making their response seem completely random.

Julie: I can't believe he would do something like that!
Courtney: I know! It was totally rude.
Julie: Sorry, what was rude, I totally have short-term texting.

Generous Texting

If a person begins to engage in the act of texting, while you are talking, over the phone. they will text slower and less noticeable in an attempt to not interrupt you. normally followed by a response from the texter interrupting the story.

Dude 1:Yo dude you'll never believe this, I was at me girlfriends the other day...
Dude 2:*generous texting* *click click click*
Dude 1:and...
Dude 2: *click click click*
Dude 1:we were sitting on the couch...
Dude 2:*click click click*
Dude 2: yea dude I know really.....
Dude 1:........

shotgun texting

To send a huge text message all at once, resulting in text messages being split in to parts. at the other end those parts, often come in all jumbled up and fills the cell phone screen.

Sometimes not all the "parts" get through — "hits the target"

Long winded shotgun message (100 characters or so)
<send>

Receiver sees:
Part 2/3 section of long winded message...
Part 3/3 section of long winded message...
Part 1/3 section of long winded message...

Receiver responds,
Whoa dude! machine gun texting might be annoying, but shotgun texting is not much better. It's all mixed up.
