this is a historically womens
college, or an hwc, part of the seven sisters (other hwc's) and also part of the five
college consortium. a large portion of the students are trans and/or nonbinary. most of the people i know use she/they pronouns. this school is incredibly queer: most students are part of the LGBTQ+ community, so good luck finding more than 5 cis-straight people.
it is truly a liberal arts college: you can get credit for writing a 5 page essay about your favorite tv show, butch lesbians, and even about
TikTok. this school is incredibly welcoming if you manage to find a
good group of people.
also it's better than smith.
