Mataboid

An ancient crystal floating construct the size of a yoga ball that is said to cause eternal pain and immense suffering when viewed at directly. It comes from the myth of Helekos and Venestas and is said to have been created to punish mortal trespassers who attempt to sneak into Elysium. The greedy merchant in the myth was said to have spasmed and fell before vomiting up blood and dying.

Helekos : The gods will not allow the living to trespass into the world of the dead. The Mataboid lies at Elysium's gates eternal. We will have to find another way.
