mid sized university located in Greeley, Colorado not too far from Denver. Filled with the future teachers, nurses, actors, and musicians of Colorado and the US.
In comparison w/ CSU and CU which tend to attract many many out of staters from all over the country (many who come for the mountains) UNC is primarily populated by young women from Denver's many suburbs (many prospective elementary teachers). Women outnumber men by far.
Though downtown Greeley is very disconnected from UNC and the college culture, there are plenty of college hangouts along 16th street (Maggie's java joint, Roma's etc.)
UNC is surrounded by huge houses, many of them 10 bedrooms which the upperclassmen tend to populate.
UNC is a blast and no place I'd rather be.

UNC is incredible. The University of Northern Colorado is quite simply everything I hoped it would be and more.

They actually have no interest in that kind of music, and alot of the time don't even know what it means. Now its a bland, vanilla milkshake yuppyized Starbucks fragment of what it used to be. Northern Virginia used to look to RICHMOND- NOT D.C. as its cultural reference points. In the last 30 years or so, it has become a cultural void full of NEW MONEYED tranpslants who lack culture of any kind and who are ashamed to be Virginians. As well they should be, because they lack the grace and genteelity that once was Northern Virginia !

You can point them out by their general condescending demeanor, when the truth be told, they probably, as a whole, have less money than their southern counterparts.
