Depeche Mode

A superlative synth band that started in the 80's New Wave era. Their first release was Speak & Spell, which was mostly authored by ex-band member Vince Clark. He left the group to form Yaz, leaving Martin L. Gore to become Depeche Mode's main songwriter for their second and future releases. That is until 2005's Playing the Angel, which had three songs written by lead singer Dave Gahan.

Sweatpants Mode

When a extremely intoxicated person becomes intensely mad at nothing in particular, causing them to change into a pair of sweatpants and a plain t-shirt and makes a complete ass of themselves. Amusing entertainment for less drunk, more appropriately dressed party-goers.

Mike was really in sweatpants mode last night. He was wearing his sweatpants yelling at people he didn't even know for no reason. He really made himself look like a foolish asshole. It was hillarious!

God mode

God mode is a term used in the nofap and carnivore diet communities. God mode means doing nofap and the carnivore diet at the same time. Combining the benefits of nofap with the benefits of the carnivore diet is called going God mode.

Person 1: “Did you notice that Bill put on 20 lbs of muscle, his voice got lower, and girls ask him for his number?”

The biggest bitch in word processing programs. Ever. There is absolutey no point to this feature. At all.

I wrote my twelve page essay on quatum mechanics only to find a mispelled word on the third sentence of my second paragraph with overtype mode on. Needless to say, I was not happy.
