Supernatural sciences usually seeks the creation of their own methods and supernatural sciences are part of logical supernaturalism.

They also play an important part in ensuring the safety of mankind, e.g. volcanologists, geotechnical engineers. There is also massive amounts of research going on in earth science.
The oil and metals used to make my computer would have been located by earth scientists; the stability of the land beneath my house is likely to have been evaluated by someone with geotechnical training; the petrol used in millions of cars every day would have come from oil located by a geophysicist.

Get the science godmug. Much like fact, "science fact" is added to the end of a sentence to imply that you know much more than you do, while effectively adding no weight. Is often classier than just saying "fact," because adding science to it makes people think you know what you're talking about.
