Guy 1: Didn't you say you were getting that for your birthday?

Guy 2: Yeah my parents were too cheap to buy me two gifts, so i got it as a christmabirthday gift

Special Gift

A one-time gift that is given to an individual out of hope that it will give the donor something in the future. The term is used as a tactic to make the recipient want to know more about the gift so that the donor can exercise their authority over them hence the generic definition.
