It can be built into societies overall way of thinking, when you starta analysing you see the unequality in the system, that favors those with money.
The welfare system had fattism built in. A rich person didn't have to show it's bills to the authorities when it got salary, whilst a person on welfare had to account all expenses & has no integrity left regarding the invoices. This is fattism, a system that treats poor people different. Fattism can also be open, that a person poorly dressed in unfavored on a i.e.) store and a guard follows it around, whilst a person dressed nice gets special service inside a store. This is fattism, unqual treatment, no matter what system.
