A school district known predominantly for driving tractors to school . Where it is awesome to be wearing dirty boots, driving pickup trucks and have missed out on ever having a winning sports team.

Did you see that dude over there trekking mud all over the floor on the other side of the store?

I was late too, but what do you expect those tractors only drive up to about 15 m.p.h.

field hockey

The most grueling, intense, rigorous sport ever created. 11 girls fight as hard as they can, run as fast as they can, and get past as many defenders as they can before driving the orange ball into the cage (aka- goal). It is extremely demanding, yet extremely rewarding.

Field General refers to a quarterback in football who is able to consistanty, but very quickly access the situation in front of him and make good decisions and plays to advance his team down the field of play. This would be playing smart, safe and consistent football. Peyton Manning and Brad Johnson are examples of field generals.

Out of left field

out of left field comes from when wrigley field was first built. In left field there was a insane asylum so when something crazy or unforseen happened it was termed, "out of left field"

Field Day

A United States Marine Corps Field Day is very simple to explain. The bottom line is that it is done once a week and it is comprehensive. It is not a "Haze Ex" nor is it a way to "Punish the boots". It is a disciplinary tool to be used to instill a little self discipline so that rooms stay sanitary and Marines stay sharp.

Unfortunately, in the hands of inexperienced leaders, it becomes a haze ex. This was never the intent. When you think of all the discipline tools we have lost in the past 20 years, The "field day is one of the last things that makes a Marine different from a "service member". Never lose your traditions...

We are gonna field day the shit out of this place!
