When a person spends too much time online participating in arguments. Someone who thinks that any kind of insult or attack on a person online applies to them as well. Someone who doesn't try to understand the context behind a message or post and feels that they must correct the original poster.

That person was being such a coel when they left a mean response to a criticism online about their favorite singer.
