City Rat

Someone who loves being out in the downtown scene. They always know the best hidden spots — from hole-in-the-wall restaurants to low-key rooftops — and never stress about what other people think. A City Rat lives for the energy of the city, whether it’s day or night.

Whenever we don’t know where to go, we hit up Marco — he’s a total City Rat and always knows the move.

Walked into work with Lisa this morning. She was rats-assing about her weekend the whole way in.

Smack Rat

Smack rat. A person who has an appearance strikingly similar to that of a rat and just so happened to partake in copious amounts of smack (opioids)

Often a cold hearted fellow who would give their left arm for a packet of baccy and a spam fritter.

(Say in a vicious and raspy voice as an insult)

Cactus Rat

A cactus rat is a slang term for a porcupine. The sharp quills on the porcupines back and tail represent the prickliness of a cactus. A rat is also a long distance family member of a porcupine (both are rodents).

Bob, don’t let the dog outside tonight. Those darn cactus rats a roaming the yard again!
