Originally dating back to the Vietnam War. When one's rotation date (leave the country) was near, one lost focus on still being a soldier, and became a liability instead of an asset. Also, the period of time at the end of the 12th grade, when one has already been accepted into a college or the military, and is just waiting for the Senior Prom and Graduation ceremonies.

I wonder if Simon Cowell is getting short-timer's syndrome on American Idol?

Strawberry Shortdick

Some freshman at school who brags about having a 10 inch penis, but really its in the 3 inch or less range, and it is also red, small, and shriveled to an almost rectangular little clump around the crotch, resembling a strawberry shortcake.

A fluffy species of cat hailing from the UK (hence the name), they are also known as the British Blue because of their blueish gray fur. There are two very famous British Shorthair cats in pop culture. The first being Church, the cat from the 1989 horror movie Pet Sematary. The second being the British Shorthair used in the "I Can Haz Cheezburger" picture that kickstarted the LOLCat phenomenon
