A referee is simply a snitch. People often say "blow whistle" when a person snitches and referees blow whistles.

1. Slang for Marijuana, Weed, Cannabis, Pot

2. Slang for refrigerator, often used by truckers when talking about refrigerated trailers aka refrigerated units.

I mostly haul dry vans, I've had some experience hauling flatbeds, I don't think I've ever hauled a reefer unit.
