When someone puts you up against the boards emotionally. They beat you down anyway possible without laying a hand on you. Typically, they result in tears.
Today the new general manager of our Chicago office came to town. He met and shook everyone's hand with the exception of me. I was totally emotionally body-checked.

Emotional hangover

The feeling after a heavy night of crying, shouting, arguments, etc.
Symptoms include bleary eyes, neck aches from lack of sleep, headaches or a foggy feeling, slow movements, lots of big, slow, blinks, and feeling fat from eatin too much comfort food.
Best rememdy - Soft drink, bad tv and a shower.
Girl - "I had a massive fight with my boyfriend last night. I just feel so.. blah."

A person who is relatively inexperienced in non-platonic relationships. These people are generally not able to communicate their feelings well, have an intense sense of need and usually have naive and idealized notions of love and romance.
