Gener-phobia

A fear or mistrust of anyone who comes into one's space that is of another generation.

"I can't talk to her. She's so not Gen Y. She doesn't get it. She's totes got Gener-phobia."

Prep-phoria

The feeling one gets from having exactly the right tool at the right moment. Especially for situations which are unlikely to occur. Or when the tool desired is extremely uncommon.

My friend was trying to adjust a part of his bike but he didn't have a 10mm wrench. Being a dutiful Eagle Scout, I reached into the bottom of my backpack and retrieved the 10mm wrench that is always there. What a feeling of prep-phoria! I was prep-phoric.

when your scared of forums because you think what you post will either get ignored by the community, AND or hated on.

Puppet-phobia

the "irrational" fear of puppets. Those who are puppet-phobics often are discriminated against, because puppets are harmless, but we know they're not.

me: "Sorry, i cant go to the play, i have puppet-phobia"
everybody else: "that's not a thing u just made it up."
me: "its a thing, its in the dictionary"
me: shows dictionary, e"see"
them:"oh that must be legitamate"
me: "it is."

conversation phobic

A conversation phobic is someone who refuses to have normal conversation, only using texts to communicate very important feelings or information.

I realized that Jim is a conversation phobic when I have tried to get him to talk to me, when I call he lets the call go to his voicemail but within seconds he texts a response.

eyeley phobia

Being afraid of cutting your eyelashes or having them cut off. Not them falling out or being cut all the way off, just trimmed.

Person: I had a nightmare last night
Different person: About what?
Person: My eyelashes being cut, it gives me a weird feeling
Different person: I think that’s called eyeley phobia
