Grotto Girls

A group of older women, known as the GG’s, distributed sexual images and videos of social media star William White without his consent, while claiming to love him. They created a private group called the "Recipe Book" and other chat groups to share these images with each other and other fans. Fans who opposed the sharing were vilified, received death threats, and had rumors spread about them to isolate them from the fan community. The Grotto Girls are notorious for bullying fans, especially young women or those who catch William White's attention, become his love interests, or receive gratitude from him for gifts. They claim to obtain private information about him from his mother, using it to assert dominance within the fan group. The Grotto Girls often make sexually explicit comments to William White during live streams and on social media. They also financially support his admitted drug habit, seeking attention and status within the fan group in return. GG members are typically identified by a flame or red high heel emoji or a logo with their profile picture, though many have stopped using these symbols due to their association with the harm caused to William White.
