dirty coast

Refers to the Louisiana coast line. It is literally dirty from all of the oil drilling etc. Some say the term comes from the dirty politics in Lousiana and New Orleans. There is also a T-shirt company that is called Dirty Coast. It makes Tees dealing with New Orleans topics.

This is the process of over-taking another car with your car in neutral. One for the recession. A way of comically boosting your MPG on those downhill sections.
We're doing 90 coaster-taking a Porsche. Crazy stuff, and economical too.
