Everyone here that writes that Ridgefield is a wealthy town is right, yeah we have money, but we don't have houses worth as some would say "35 million dollars". Ridgefield is terribly over priced, and some people that live here just barely get by on the money they have.
No one sees anything other than the kids good grades and achievments in sports. No one cares about the art shows or anything other than the football games. Our school has way too much team spirit for its own good.
The only reason you would want to raise kids here is if you want them to have a good future and get into a good school.
Sure some of the gurls are sluts and some kids do drugs, but most people in Ridgefield think we do more drugs just because they haven't left this little "bubble" that Ridgefield is and seen the real outside world.
But to everyone saying that the highschool is one of the best is misinformed. We aren't even a blue ribbon school, so we aren't even close to the best.
The Cheerleaders are losers and the girls on the dance team are whores. The jocks are meat heads, and thats about it.

Get the Ridgeline mug.A Working-Class town in NYC that's right next door to Brooklyn,and is close to Bushwick and Glendale.Ridgewood is atleast 25 minuits from Manhattan,if you take the M-Train that stops right in the middle of Forest Avenue.People of all races life there,which are mostly Black,Hispanic and Polish,and the apartment layouts give it more a Brooklyn look then Queens,which have great prices and can be easily afforded.Ridgewood is a great place for raising a kid,because of it's great schools and socializatian,while all the stores and transportation.
