One of the most powerful military in the world
Despite what people say, they are not a bunch of surrender monkeys
They have some of the most advanced weapons in the world and supply many countries with weapons

one of the main reasons they get so much ridicule is because they refused to join US in the invasion of Iraq and because of WW2. Contrary to popular belief, the French did not just surrender, they still had the Free French Forces and the French Resistance who were truly valiant

During World War I, 1.4 million French soldiers were killed as they fought with bravery and gallantry and there are many more stories of gallantry like this

French Military has among the highest military victories in the world having been in over 150 major wars in the last 2000 years, they have won 110 of them

Political jargon for an act of war or other violent military operations. Generally used when politicians don't want to say "war."
