Une Mariana est un Pokémon apparu suite à la 2 ième génération en 2000, rejoignant ainsi la grande famille de chez Nintendo. Elle est connu pour être le plus controversée de la série à ce jour. Tournant toujours autour de polémiques, ce Pokémon cause problème chez Nintendo. Ce fut tel que son utilisation est courante dans le milieu de la Xénophobie, transophobie, sexisme, etc... allant même jusqu'au Fascisme causa problèmes. Réputé d'une toxicité et connotation négative, c'est ainsi que Nintendo décida finalement de blacklister ce dernier en l'an 2010.
