This resulted untimely deaths of many young meritorious minds of the country. This brutal response ignited widespread outrage among the students, whose courageous actions eventually forced Sheikh Hasina to resign and flee the country on August 5, 2024. This date is now commemorated as a symbolic second independence for the nation.
