Kinda like mansplaining or womansplaining but just splaining in general. When someone explains something to you assuming that you have no knowledge of the subject.

Splaining:
you: breaths
splainer: well actually the origin of ... blah blah blah
you: i... i know
splainer: no, actually ... (a bunch of useless information you didn't ask for)

Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do!

Saying a person or entity "has some ‘splainin’ to do" (in a Cuban accent) is a humorous way of suggesting that they have done something illegal or otherwise embarrassing.

The catchphrase dates back to the 50's "I Love Lucy" show.

"Dude, asdfghjkl;!!!... why are my briefs pink?? Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do!"

: a weather condition wherein the weather gods have not found fit to decide what kind of cold and crappy weather they would deign to give us. Is it snow? Is it rain? It is a crap shoot. Wait five minutes and it will change into something else. Bastards.

Portishead may very well be the perfect music to listen to on a snainy day. Or not. It may just bum you out more.
