shopping-cart sidle

Refers to da "lift 'n' shift" grocery-wagon maneuver dat you utilize when making room for another customer if da aisle is too narrow/crowded to simply roll da trolley forwards/backwards outta da way; da action involves forcibly lifting up on da cart's handle to raise da fixed-forward rear wheels off da floor, and then muscling da cart sideways on its front swivel-wheels.
Anyone of average strength/agility can master da shopping-cart sidle fairly easily; da problem is if da cart is heavily loaded down wif merchandise, in which case trying to heave da back of da cart upwards can be much more difficult.

I'm shopping for someone else...

Da standard "please bear with me --- I'm not familiar with this type or purchase" preamble-remark dat you ruefully tell a store-employee whom you ask for assistance in finding/choosing one or more items dat you never use yourself, and so you have less of an idea of how to shop for it or maybe even where it's stocked in da store.
Two good examples of when you might tell a staffperson, "I'm shopping for someone else..." might be if you were looking for a type of media-entertainment (such as books, music, or movies) dat you have no interest in yourself, or if you merely lived a simple bachelor's existence and were procuring "fussy female stuff" items for a lady-friend, such as cosmetics, dress-up clothing, fancy table-setting accessories, etc.

shopping in my store

Violating someone's 3 foot personal space rule, getting in someone's grill, and being way too close for comfort.
I don't understand why Maleeq is always shopping in my store? He needs to step off and get away from me with his funky breath.

Venue Shopping

Venue Shopping — The art of finding the perfect judge and municipality in which to force a pivotal court case designed to restrict the rights of “the many “ by “the few”.

This is currently the most popular political tactic used by “the old guard” to prevent the inevitability of America’s changing demographic realities.

Some say it is a reaction to Barack Obama having become a successful, two term, popular Black President of the United States; but, that would be like saying that at the heart of American culture there is an unstated racism.

Wait…that’s exactly what I’m saying.

Two places where Venue Shopping can be clearly seen in our border policies and in out treatment of women and the rights that they have — or don’t have — over their own bodies.

In the old days we didn’t say “venue shopping — which is kind of a disinfected boutique term, we used to say “THE FIX IS IN”.
Opponents to the reproductive freedom of women went Venue Shopping in Texas to find a judge who would outlaw gynecological medications used in both miscarriages and abortions..

Shopping cart racing

When you race by pushing empty shopping carts around in a store or shopping mall with people racing against you.

The sport usually always involves drifting the carts while racing.

It can be very risky in some ways because of people and other shoppers being in the way.

Security guards pursuits may be involved around the store or mall.
1: What do you wanna do tonight guys?
2: Let’s go shopping cart racing!
All: Yeah!
1: Alright. Shhhh. Let’s get our carts out and let’s totally rip up the store!
