Dead Screening

The act of sitting in front of a computer screen and surfing for information and entertainment mindlessly. A more brain-dead type of surfing the internet that commonly occurs at or between the times of 10:00pm and 2:00 am. The information found while Dead Screening is not usually remembered the next day. To come out of Dead Screening is an impossible task until you cannot think of anything more to search, fall asleep at the computer or are disturbed in some way by a partner, power cut or internet crash.

Guy1: Hey man, what time did you get to bed last night, you look like shit!

Dual Screening

The art of watching a TV show whilst simultaneously tweeting constantly about it. Dual Screeners tend to tweet descriptive statements more frequently than opinions/reviews.
Some of the more talented Dual Screeners make following their commentary more entertaining than watching the real thing.

Person 1: Are you watching Masterchef tonight?
Person 2: Nah, I follow this guy on twitter who'll be dual screening it - I'll just read that.

When 2 or more people simultaneously and intentionally start watching a movie or series together (e.g. as a form of spending time together) even though they are not in the same house, city or country

Screening

To stand in front of someone who is trying to shot or walk in a direction in a video game. Occurs with teammates because in many video games your bullets and abilities will not travel through teammates to hit enemies, but enemies projectiles will travel through both your teammate and you. In games which punish players for damaging teammates it can be used as a type of trolling It can be done unintentionally, but the person being screened almost never benefits from it.

Green-screening occurs when a company pretends to be socially responsible despite obvious and clearly irresponsible practices.

For example, British Petroleum and Exxon Mobile are two of the dirtiest, environmentally destructive companies on the planet. But they air commercials designed to counteract this image.

Exxon Mobile is just green-screening! They aren't exploring alternative energy like they claim!
