A way to insult someone bipolar. You are basically calling them crazy and gay. Full term is Bi- Polar-Bear when you are calling them gay and crazy. Polar- Bear when ur just calling them crazy.

A polar bear is a derogatory term for a parent.

It is often applied in the case of parents that seem over bearing or harsh. (EX: Grounding you before grades come in assuming you have already failed your class)

ORIGIN: Polar bear is specifically used because they are often considered the most vicious of the ursine family. It is also attributed to the fact that polar bears have the highest incident ratio when it comes to eating there young, which is a common occurring event across the board for the ursine species.
