Pokemon Master Syndrome

Noun- The feeling of severe boredom, depression, or insanity acquired after completing a long-term goal. Often associated with investing hours in a Pokemon game, beating it, and not knowing what the hell to do next, but not limited to Pokemon.
I suffered from some serious Pokemon Master Syndrome after beating the Elite Four and getting all eight badges. I think im going to hang myself now.

After Football Season was over, I suffered with Pokemon Master Syndrome, spending mindless hours on Facebook and Youtube.

Say what you will folks, but Pokemon is one of the greatest games ever released for the Gameboy. Period.

The problem is that Nintendo, through their misguided policy of inundating the market with a whole wack of crappy, kitschy merchandise, not to mention a t.v show and movies galore, alienated their older players. My theory is that most people who complain about how Pokemon is stupid, are actually disenfranchised former Pokemon players. Cause let's face it, back in the day, everybody, and I mean everybody, played it.

And all that is a real shame, because from a strictly gameplay point of view, Pokemon kicks ass. It should have gone down in history as one of the better video game franchises. But thanks to Nintendo's decision to sell the game to eight year olds, that won't happen.
Back when Pokemon was cool, I played it all the time. But then when everyone was like, "This game sucks!" I jumped on the bandwagon, so that I didn't look like a loser.

Pokémon GO San Diego

Pokémon GO San Diego” is one of the largest local user-based community group established and acquired by Ali Vongsathian on July 17, 2021 during the annual GO Fest Global Event.

It was originally created as a Facebook Messenger group called “Pokémon GO City Heights” for the area of interest to play. On April 27, 2020 Niantic, Inc. the developers of Pokémon GO introduced the remote raid pass feature.

The group no longer served a purpose for a specific area of San Diego due to the capability of remote raiding anywhere in the world. It was eventually merged with Discord and rebranded as “Pokémon GO San Diego” on August 17, 2021.
Him: Do you any raid local groups in San Diego?
Her: Yeah, there’s an official raid group — it’s called Pokémon GO San Diego! you can find them Google.
Him: No way, I found them on reddit!
Her: Yeah! they have a discord too!

Pokémon GO

A recent epidemic starting in July of 2016. This bug has caused thousands of people, young and old, to take to the streets in search of creatures which are not truly there.

Pokémon GO offers the opportunity to feed a power and control addiction by paying prices of anywhere between $2 to $200 to receive mysterious, back-street items; such items cause these Pokémon to appear more frequently. Encounters with said creatures are noted to cause angst and excitement among those infected.
I would write more, but I am about to level-up in Pokémon GO!
