Dirt left over after a thourough cleaning. Especially in the prints in one's hands or under the fingernails. Essentially, clean dirt.

After repairing the greasy engine, Rob washed his hands three times but was unable to remove some of the permagrunge on his hands.

Permagrin

This term was coined in Milwaukee WI, during the winter of 2011...Permagrin is characterized by uncontrollable smiling of one person that is brought on by the actions or sight of another ;)

Josh has had permagrin since his amazing first date with Carrie.
