Dr. Obvious

1. A person that makes generalized, self-evident "observations" in an attempt to bolster his or her sense of worth in a conversation. However, almost all comments made by a Dr. Obvious are as worthless as he or she is.

2. That guy that says what everybody else was thinking twenty mintues ago.

"Dude, I think its broken."

Jeff: "Yeah, I like boobs."
Chris: "Well welcome to the human race Dr. Obvious. Too bad a tool like you will never see any."

Jeff: "Well the problem is ______."
Chris: "Ah, thank you for you expert opinion Dr. Obvious. Now what the fuck are we going to do about it?"

Obvious conversation

An entire conversation discussed about nothing except obvious facts. Usually held on awkward blind dates, between coworkers, conversations between a father and his porn star daughter, or a douchebag who thinks he's smooth while trying to hit on a girl.

Rob: So, It's rained everyday this week.
Kelly: Yeah. It usually stops near September, though.
Rob: Mhmm.
Kelly: Yeah.
Rob: So did you watch the 49ers last evening? They lost.
Kelly: Yep. The score was 24-21, right?
Rob. Yes.
Kelly: Can you believe we have to go to work an hour earlier tommorow?
Rob: Yes.
Kelly: ...Okay this is a very obvious obvious conversation

bleeding obvious

to miss something so obvious to anyone who made any actual effort to look, or even glance, that only a complete moron or someone with the IQ of a pineapple would fail to see it. Predominantly an English expression, especially with London Cockneys.

Watson asked Sherlock who shot the victim. "Somebody with a gun." he mocked.
