Narjolepsy

(n) A sleep disorder in which your friend, relative, spouse, or other acquaintance named "Jo" falls asleep without any warning. Often times this happens during text conversations. It is obvious that this happens when there is a long delay to respond to a message. Typically, you find out hours later or the next day that they just fell asleep during the conversation. This is the female form. The male form is spelled "Narjoelepsy".

"Man, I was texting my old lady Jo last night and she just stopped responding. I figured that she fell asleep again. She's got a bad case of narjolepsy"

Conference Induced Narcolepsy Syndrome (CINS)

When one sits down in a conference room, and no matter how interesting the topic, one falls asleep immediately.

Co-Worker: "What class did you go to?"

You: "That one I was really excited about yesterday."

Co-Worker: "Was it as good as you thought it would be?"

You: "I don't know, I came down with Conference Induced Narcolepsy Syndrome (CINS) when I sat down."

social narcolepsy

The sudden feeling of sleepiness or exhaustion felt the moment one is invited to a social function or activity, which usually results in avoiding that function or activity;
an excuse of having 'plans early the next day' is typically feigned, albeit poorly.

Person 1: "Hey, it's Saturday! Do you want to get some dinner and see a movie tonight?"

Person 2: "Nah, I'm kinda tired & don't want to be out too late. Plus, I have to get up early for work...on umm,..Monday".

Person 1: "Ah, sounds more like a case of social narcolepsy. (rolls eyes) Whatever."

You see, unfortunately, Nigel suffers from the rare but chronic sleep disorder, narcolepsy.

Ejaculation narcolepsy

When a guy becomes instantly tired and/or falls asleep as soon as his side of the deal is complete and he has ejaculated. This is regardless of length of time or time of day of said session.

"So, how was it with Peter?"

"Oh fine, but he got ejaculation narcolepsy after only 27 seconds so our time was cut short."

transportation narcolepsy

Getting sleepy or falling asleep on public transportaion, including, but not limited to, subways, buses, trains, taxis, etc.

Krista's transportation narcolepsy during her daily BART ride to work frequently results in her missing her stop, drooling on herself, and people mistaking her for a homeless person.

The phenomena whereby you could be falling asleep at your desk but as soon as you get home you're totally fine.

I was falling asleep at my desk but as soon as I left there I felt better,I must have workolepsy.
