An abbreviation for motion picture. Both movie and film are often used to describe a mopic, but unfortunately neither definition is truly synonymous with the heart of what a motion picture really is. Calling a mopic a film does not differentiate it from a photo and calling a mopic a movie is just an old term used in an attempt to describe the concept of motion.
