3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Propanone (MDP2P) is a yellow chemical that has a melting point of 87-88 °C and a Boiling point range of 115-170 °C at around 30 mmhg. MDP2P can be synthesized by oxidation of MDP2Pol (3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Propanol) using either sodium chlorite or sodium hypochlorite in hydrochloric acid and a byproduct is chlorine gas (if hydrochloric acid isn't used, then you will get the haloform reaction). MDP2P can also be synthesized by a grignard reaction of 3,4-MethyleneDioxyBenzyl magnesium chloride (formed from 3,4-Methylenedioxybenzyl chloride and magnesium turnings in diethyl ether) and acetonitrile followed by hydrochloric acid work-up. MDP2P can also be synthesized from wacker oxidation of safrole. Reaction of MDP2P with an ethanol solution of ethylamine and Aluminum Galinstan amalgam reduces the MDP2P-ethylimine intermediate into MDEA. 3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Propanone is a yellow oily ketone. It is yellow green in the sunlight. MDP2P can also be synthesized by reacting sesamyl tosylate (SmOTs,3,4-Methylenedioxyphenyl tosylate) with ethyl acetoacetate and sodium ethoxide and Copper iodide catalyst and heat. 3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Propanone is also called Sesamyl-2-Propanone (Se2P, Ses2P, Sm2P), Sesamylacetone, and Piperonyl Methyl Ketone.

3,4-Methylenedioxybenzyl chloride

3,4-Methylenedioxybenzyl chloride (MDBnCl; Piperonylchloride; Sesamyl methyl chloride; 3,4-Methylenedioxyphenyl methyl chloride) is a chemical that is used in organic synthesis. It's melting point is 20.5 °C. It's boiling point is 97-100 ° at 1 mmHg. MDBnCl is used to synthesize other chemicals like MDP2P (3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Propanone) and MDP2Bu 3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Butanone; 1-(3,4-Methylenedioxy)phenyl-2-butanone via MDBn-MgCl (3,4-Methylenedioxybenzyl magnesium chloride) and acetonitrile or propionitrile and HCl acid work-up.

2-methyl-2-butanol

2-methyl-2-butanol is a tertiary alcohol which is 20 times stronger than regular ethanol (alcohol). 2-methyl-2-butanol doesn't produce aldehydes as a metabolite and instead, produces 2-methyl-2-butanyl gluconoride and 2-methyl-2,3-butanediol. Meanwhile, ethanol produces acetaldehyde, a moderately toxic aldehyde, before becoming the harmless acetic acid. As a result, there is no hangover from 2-methyl-2-butanol but there is a temporary hangover from ethanol. The dose range of 2-methyl-2-butanol is 2ml to 12ml+.
2-methyl-2-butanol can be made from ethyl chloride by the grignard reaction from an ethyl magnesium chloride intermediate reacting with acetone and then a hydrochloric acid work-up.
