Acronym for Face In Phone. When someone is constantly staring at their phone and ignoring the world around them.

"All you do is FIP all day." or "Every time I see her she is fipping." When I catch someone doing this I sing or whistle the theme song from the TV show Flipper. They call her Fipper, Fipper waisting the whole day. Face in a phone, as if she alone.

FIP

Fully integrated Pole. Polish people who have fully integrated (or like to fit in, and understand our somewhat dry sense of humour) into the British way of life, whatever that is supposed to be in our supposedly cosmopolitan country. This is since the deregulation and right to work across the EU. Fips love asking questions, particularly about English slang, and generally interested in everything British! This a joke word! That Polish friends have found amusing.

I love my fip friends. They teach me Polish swear words in exchange for often bizarre sounding Enlgish slang that simply doesn't translate!
