Egomancing

A term used to describe the act of giving a person you believe to have a romantic interest in you just enough encouragement to keep them expressing interest. The egomancer has no real romantic interest in this person. This is usually undertaken unconsciously to protect or inflate the egomancer's ego.

Think back. Wasn't there that one person who kept confusing you with mixed messages at the friend/relationship barrier.
That one person might have been confused about their feelings or you were some kind of backup OR That person was just egomancing.

Eggman

1. Eric Burdon aka 'eggs' lead singer of band the animals. Named so for his fondness of breaking eggs over young women on one ocassion done in the presence of John Lennon. As described in his biography and referenced to in popular beatles song 'i am the walrus' written by Lennon. The B-side track on the magical mystery tour to Paul Mccartney's 'Hello GoodBye'.

2. Also the name of an eggman in sega game brand 'Sonic the hedgehog'. Origionaly named 'Dokutā Egguman' (Japanese for Doctor Eggman) but renamed eggman for English speaking markets. He is known in some games as Docto Ivo Robotnik because his grandfather's name was 'Gerald Robotnik'.

3. The nickname of egg-artist Alan Traynor.

the coolest sonic character he is like Eggman the common antagonist but instead of conquering earth he wants total destruction which ultimately means more in the cool factor
