Ghost Drop

When you are in a crowded place and you "air drop" random pictures or videos to unknown others.

Person 1: Whatcha doing?
Person 2: I'm bored, so ghost dropping people.

Person 1: What is that?
Person 2: I am going through my pictures and playing a game where I air drop them to random people and try to guess the person I am airdropping to.

Person 1: so you just spreading meme joy to people?
Person 2: you got it!! Look... they accepted... :)

A term coined by Timothy Leary to describe the psychedelic experience. Leary explains it in his book Flashbacks as such

“Turn on’ meant go within to activate your neural and genetic equipment. Become sensitive to the many and various levels of consciousness and the specific triggers that engage them. Drugs were one way to accomplish this end. ‘Tune in’ meant interact harmoniously with the world around you – externalize, materialize, express your new internal perspectives. Name Drop Violation

When somebody you know who is a notorious "name-dropper " crosses the line and starts to reference unpopular people as famous or people that have too many degrees of separation from "said"celebrity, hence siblings, in-laws or distant relations as famous or interesting in any way.

Pablo was pumped to have the sister of the founder of a "major silicon valley social media company" attend his happy hour, Roberto and I both felt this was a major "Name Drop Violation".

homie drop

A homie drop is when a friend is fucked up either by gang related injuries or by drugs and you have to drop them off at the hospital entrance only to depart immediately afterwards.

Jerome: "Yo Tommy what happened to Darren last night?"
Tommy: "Nigga got fucked up at that party so we had to homie drop him before shit got real"
