Used to describe a faction of the new generation of young leftist idealogues. Despite the name, disputeniks usually control their anger, even on extreme levels, and avoid self defense at all costs. Generally describes the portion of the movement that believes that the revolution should be disputed with society directly. Not always violent, but will challenge cops, the norms of society and government and the current administration using mental, emotional, artistic and sometimes physical means. Disputeniks write political graffiti, read often and may have some connection to animal and women's rights groups.

It involves actions taken against a targeted individual by numerous people, using Disruption tactics such as organized harassment via classical conditioning, overt constant surveillance, slander, career sabotage, relationship sabotage, street theatre, vandalism, and possibly electronic harassment. Most of these tactics are illegal, but difficult to prove.

This allows for a discussion to proceed without having to pre-emptively characterize (or mischaracterize) what the problem is. It avoids rigid binary thinking, and instead allows opposing truths to coexist without needing immediate resolution.

In order to be able to discuss the matter without it deteriorating into an argument, they agreed to refer to her problem as a “Disruption Experience”. This allowed the conversation to proceed more openly as they gradually worked toward a mutual determination of which of the two cases was truly occurring.
(2) Under a possible co-responder model, the initial contact person (either police or mental health) receiving a complaint about gangstalking would log the complaint as a “Disruption Experience”. This avoids having to make a determination on the spot, before the complaint is properly evaluated/ investigated. This neutral term avoids a possible mischaracterization at the outset, which can be difficult to undo later on. Even if a satisfactory outcome is not achieved, the Disruption Experience complaint would still be on record for possible follow-up, future review, …or even for research purposes, to gain a better understanding of this problem overall.
