Needlessly overengineered or overly complex design. Often done on purpose to lend additinal weight or substance to what should otherwise be a simple process or diagram.

XML, SOAP, FIX protocol, NASA are examples of a compleximetron.

A hybrid of the words make and complex.

This word is used to describe someone who is viewed as complex. Someone not easy to understand and no cannot be regarded as a simpleton.
