Bubblegum Bass

Bubblegum Bass (sometimes called PC music, bubblebass, post-ringtone, hyper pop or bubblegum badass) is a style of Electronic Dance Music that originated in the early 2010s. It takes Pop music and amplifies its cuteness and femininity to extreme levels, often pitching the vocals upward and warping the rhythm through a frenzied UK Bass and Wonky filter. The production uses bouncy, plastic-sounding synths and further draws from a variety of club sounds, including Electro House, Balearic Beat, Trance, Footwork, and Bubblegum Dance.

SOPHIE and A. G. Cook are the two best known producers in this genre; the latter producer's label PC Music is the label most associated with the genre. A disorienting post-internet aesthetic exemplified by DIS Magazine also shapes the style of Bubblegum Bass both sonically and visually, though DIS's output is not exclusively centered on Bubblegum Bass.

Popular blog, Gorilla vs. Bear, had 'bubblegum bass' single 'Keri Baby' by A. G. Cook as their #1 song of 2014.

Bubba'd

A term used in the firearm community for any firearm modified in a slapdash way. Named after rednecks who are the most famous makers of "Bubba'd" firearms, the bubba'd gun is usually an older military rifle, such as a Mosin-Nagant, Lee-Enfield or Springfield Model 1903, although rarer guns have been modified. These are then cut down to short "sporter" lengths, fitted with scope rails, tacky wooden furniture and more.

These modifications are almost always frowned upon by the firearm community at large, and thus "bubba'd" guns commend much lower prices in comparison to non-modified models. Many "bubba'd" guns also can be modified to extreme lengths, and thus should be taken with caution as they might explode in the users hands. Dangerous, tacky and useless, the "bubba'd" gun should only be used in desperation.

Hubba Bubba is a bubblegum that was used in the 1980's as a trading currency for sexual favours. Typically it would be traded for a love-bite and fingering behind the local Chinese takeaway.
