asterisk action

An action that takes place on a forum or message board to indicate, normally in third person, that the character being controlled by the poster has done an action. These actions are placed in a set of asterisks. If in response to someone's post, that normally means that they are the direct object of that action.

Not to be confused with asterisk expression. Asterisk expressions run along the lines of: *sigh* *cough* or *sneeze* If you were to add an "s" to any of those, it would be an action.

The Human Abstract is a progressive metal/mathcore band with neo-classical elements. They are from Los Angeles, California. They are freaking awesome and have some damn good guitarists and should be considered one of the best bands in the world.

The Human Abstracts best song would be crossing the rubicon coz it has a kick arse intro and the instrumental song would be Sotto Voce

Amsterdamaged

When in Amsterdam, you succumb to the available comodities, (i.e any drugs worth mentioning, intense clubs, crazy prostitution) and are severely burnt out, requiring a lengthy period of recovery.

My brother just got back from Holland, and he seems pretty amsterdamaged. I dont think he'll be going to work tomorrow.
