A nice way of saying Hi or Bye. Started in California around 1992 with the Pringle brothers who said this to their friends and family. Their dad "Captain Jack" taught them to treat others with respect and they believe this saying came from his good nature.

The word has a deeper meaning of saying How are you? Or I love you.

Usually used with close friends or someone you want to be your close friend.
